Goodreads Book Tag

I found this tag over at Abby Likes To Read and wanted to join in! I only started using Goodreads after I began reviewing poetry book more seriously, so for those of you who aren’t following me on that platform, I’ve decided to share my answers here!

WHAT IS THE LAST BOOK YOU MARKED AS “READ?”

Good to Me: A Poetic Journey to Self-Acceptance and Self-Preservation by Ashley Poston

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

Where I Ache by Megan O’Keeffe

WHAT WAS THE LAST BOOK YOU MARKED AS “TO READ”?

She by Thomas Bellezza

WHAT BOOK DO YOU PLAN ON READING NEXT?

The Light Before We Land by Patrick D. Kaiser

DO YOU USE THE STAR RATING SYSTEM?

I do but only on GoodReads as I find it annoying and arbitrary.

ARE YOU DOING THE 2019 READING CHALLENGE?

I am! And I am very happy to say I have gone far beyond my original goal of reading and reviewing 20 poetry books. I’m at 36 so far for the year and am looking to back on track and reach 50 by the end of December!

DO YOU HAVE A WISHLIST?

Not really – that’s the exciting part about letting poets all over the world send you their work. You never know what you’re going to get!

WHAT BOOK DO YOU PLAN ON BUYING NEXT?

I’m thinking Misery Falls by Barry Makepeace.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE?

“those drums those drums those hysterical dead skins.” – W. R. Rodriquez

WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE AUTHORS?

W. R. Rodriquez and Carl Safina

ARE YOU A PART OF ANY GOODREADS GROUPS?

I am, but I am not very active in any of them.

WHAT COULD GOODREADS DO BETTER?

I don’t know – if any of you have ideas I would love to see them in the comments!

That about wraps it up! I hope you enjoyed this and can’t wait to read your responses! If you have a Goodreads account, feel free to follow me!

Also, I tag Books On The Brain and Read With Wine to fill out this questionnaire too. Can’t wait to see what you all say!
