Happy New Year!

A New Year Means New Titles and a New Non-Profit

Happy New Year, poetry lovers! I hope your New Year’s Eve was filled to the brim with your preferred version of fun. My “wild” New Year’s Eve consisted of a movie and snuggling with a loved one; it was lovely.

All in all, 2019 was an exciting year for Berry’s Poetry Book Reviews. Not only did over 200 followers discover this project, but I had the privilege of reading delectable poetry collections. I am happy to announce that this project will not only move forward but will be releasing three new reviews a week so even more poets can gain exposure.

In addition to helping poets around the world share their work with the public, Berry’s Poetry Book Reviews raised $13.20 for Lambda Literary! Since no poet pays to have their work reviewed, this donation was raised by you, the readers! Your interactions with the site and contributions are what made this donation possible.

While we wave a fond farewell to 2019 and all the great memories it brought us, it’s time to look forward to 2020.

I am very excited to announce that the non-profit organization Berry’s Poetry Book Reviews will be supporting this year is the St. Louis Crusaders! The Crusaders is a USA Rugby and International Gay Rugby men’s team. Their players are dedicated to promoting equality and diversity in all sports through (the greatest sport, in my own opinion) rugby.

Remember, even if you can’t afford a donation you can still help poets and the St. Louis Crusaders! Comment on a post, share a review or tell other’s about the site.

Let’s make this year even more exciting than the last and discover new poets together!
